We've had Gloria, the duck, visiting
our pond daily. Jeremy, her "husband" came
the first day we saw her, and then
was MIA until yesterday!
He's become a regular now, too!
In order to try to save our frogs and tadpoles,
we have begun feeding the ducks
away from the pond!

ReplyDeleteJust wanted to let you know that if you see Jeremy swimming around without Gloria for several days in a row, she might be sitting on a nest near the water somewhere. They are VERY GOOD at hiding their nests, and will even nest in very low shrubs, not flying when predators approach until they're touched. Maybe if you have some verigated grasses or something, you'll get ducklings this year!! :)
